Our origin story

Our Origin Story

As a former local news reporter, our co-founder spent years listening to residents, covering community concerns, and seeing how administrative delays and communication gaps affected daily life. These problems rarely reflected a lack of effort from public employees. More often, staff were overextended and working with disconnected systems, manual processes, and outdated technology.

Her later work in the nonprofit sector brought her into closer collaboration with local governments. She gained a deeper understanding of the regulations, approval processes, and public responsibilities agencies must navigate. She also saw why artificial intelligence must be introduced carefully, with strong protections for privacy, ethics, and human oversight.

The idea grew through conversations with her husband, an AI engineer who has designed and implemented complex, high-stakes systems for clients while meeting federal requirements and strict security, compliance, and company standards.

Together, they considered whether the same technology developed for large organizations could solve practical, everyday problems in local government.

It could.

Focused AI tools can be built in weeks rather than years. They can reduce repetitive work, flag incomplete information, connect existing systems, and make government processes easier for employees and residents. They do not need to replace staff, remove oversight, or require multimillion-dollar consulting contracts.

That idea became the foundation of our company.

We build practical, affordable tools that increase staff capacity, improve access to services, and help local governments serve their communities more clearly and efficiently while keeping people responsible for public decisions.

Technology alone cannot earn public trust. Government employees do that work. Our purpose is to give them better tools.
